They are often scratched, faded, or show noticeable water marks and heat rings. How It Work: Restor-A-Finish is a unique finish-penetrating formula that contains a small amount of stain along with the right amounts of solvent and restoring oils to bring wood back to new, without the need of stripping. It penetrates faded lacquer, shellac or varnish finishes to bring back the original color and luster of the wood. It is fair superior than temporary “scratch cover” products that only work on the surface. Restor-A-Finish restores the depth of the grain and permanently restores most wood finishes without removing any of the existing finish.

Easy to Use: Choose the color that most closely matches the finish of your wood. Simply wipe on with a soft cloth in the direction of the grain. For severe white rings or oxidation, super fine (0000) steel wool should be used instead of a cloth. And for carved areas that are hard to reach with your fingers, a soft toothbrush or paint brush can be used. After applying, you will want to wipe dry with a clean soft cloth – that’s it!
